The Olmsted Brothers, represented by John C. Olmsted and Edward C. Whiting, spent considerable time on site visits and design during the 29-year duration of this project for Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Sherwin and their daughters Belle and Prudence. The design work for "Winden" their country home included a garden with pools for Belle, who had a particular interest in gardening.
