synopsis
Sir Cameron wrote to Olmsted Sr about his hope that the landscape for his Staten Island estate would be complete by his return from London in September 1888. Stone walls still define the likely location of the Cameron house at Radcliff and Briarcliff Roads, and Cameron Lake exists to the west, but otherwise the land has been subdivided and overlaid with a street grid.
