synopsis

Herring Run Parkway was designed by the Olmsted Brothers in 1908. The 4-mile long parkway, which ends at Chesapeake Bay, was staked and surveyed by the firm with the “idea that all trees should be saved, we can recommend certain adjustments of the line to save them and trust that it will be done.” [P.R.
