Also known as Memorial Parkway, Utica Parkway spans across a 5 mile distance running between Genessee Road and Sherman Drive. Correspondence reveals there was much debate over the width of the curvilinear parkway, but today the median ranges from 40 to 60 feet. The project from 1906-1926 helped connect a number of parks through the city, including the Olmsted designed Roscoe Conkling Park

Correspondence reveals there was much debate over the width of the curvilinear parkway, but today the median ranges from 40 to 60 feet. The project from 1906-1926 helped connect a number of parks through the city, including the Olmsted designed Roscoe Conkling Park (03091) and Proctor, F.T. Park (03185). It also led to several subdivision projects for the firm as developers were eager to incorporate the Parkway into their subdivisions and hired the Olmsted Brothers firm to accomplish this goal.
