In 1924 the Olmsted Brothers drew plans for Birmingham, AL, Linn Park and advised on its development as both a park and potential civic center. The firm provided suggestions to the Park and Recreation Board regarding the placement and architectural style of the city library. Also known also as Capitol Park, the firm wanted to focus on the park as a place for recreation and community gathering.
