In 1910 founding Park Board president J.M. Frink commissioned landscape improvements for his hilltop Leschi home. Dawson generated a grading study, planting plan and planting scheme for a wall and lengthy rockery at the back where the grade dropped sharply.

Dawson generated a grading study, planting plan and planting scheme for a wall and lengthy rockery at the back where the grade dropped sharply. On the entry side he added dense “Boundary plantations” for privacy and “a continuous belt of plantings along the base of the house” to better integrate the house and landscape. House and garden no longer exist.
