Description
Covered by a panoply of exquisite tile roofed California homes with an everchanging vista of the awsome, often wild Pacific Ocean foaming against the cliffs below.' In his 1914 report, J.C. Olmsted recommended 'The most important restrictions we suggest would be, first, to require the outer walls of all buildings to be of concrete or stucco whitened, and all roofs to be either flat or covered with full sized red terra cotta Spanish rounded tiles (no imitation to be allowed).'
