Description
The Olmsted Brothers wrote in 1903 that “…comparatively …few cities have what can properly be called a comprehensive, well-balanced and well-developed system of parks… A connected system of parks and parkways is manifestly far more complete and useful than a series of isolated parks…” The drive through Frink Park, designed by John C. Olmsted in 1907, is a picturesque element of the 20-mile Olmsted system of boulevards and parkways connecting the numerous parks that make up Seattle’s historic park system. - C.E. Beveridge {Vegetation - CIrcuation - Structure}
